Woman's Body as the Holy of Holies
The female body has always been viewed as sacred. For tens of thousands of years, our ancient ancestors worshipped a primordial Mother Goddess. They sculpted statuettes of Her form only for us to find as evidence of this veneration. At the dawn of civilization women were Priestesses of the Goddess. Many believe they performed sacred sexual rites. The word virgin meant "a woman unto herself". She was a woman who knew the power of her body, who knew that her Eros was pure, whole, and holy all on its own. These Priestesses tended to their internal flames and knew that their bodies were the earthly forms of the Goddess. They knew that their female bodies were the Sanctuary. It is time for you to remember YOURSELF as the holy of holies.

"REJOICING AT HER WONDROUS VULVA, THE YOUNG WOMAN INANNA APPLAUDED HERSELF."
Over 6000 years ago, the Goddess Inanna began her initatory journey to spiritual power and wisdom by celebrating her female body, most specificially her pussy. In some of the oldest myths ever recorded in human history, the female body was honored as sacred. Not because she gave birth to the savior, not because she did something for a man. It was her vulva, her female sexuality, that was the starting point of her power.

THE YONI WAS THE MOST POWERFUL SYMBOL
But patriarchal religion tried to rewrite the narrative. They tried to tell us that our bodies were sinful, that the root of all evil came from the carnal nature of woman. They made it seem like a woman who has sex was immoral, when our ancient ancestors knew that female sexuality was the most powerful force in the universe. New Age spirituality has even been influenced by this and prides itself on telling women to be celibate because a man will energetically taint her womb. A man cannot take what the Goddess gives a woman. A woman holds the power of creation between her hips. That cannot be taken away by anyone. Ever.
