They'll tell you she was taken, they'll tell you she was tricked. But Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, Goddess of Spring, is the alchemical Goddess who can take the darkest shadows and turn them to gold. She is a beacon for the women who choose the wild unknown, who let their most challenging times turn into their greatest powers and most beautiful art. Her legacy is deep, poetic, and erotic. She rules over psychadelic mysteries. She is the daughter that forged her own path. The Queen that brought death to his knees. The Goddess who can guide you to the Underworld and rebirth you in the Spring.

When a poem comes to you it's like being taken to the Underworld. The earth opens up and you have no choice but to descend. And when you're down there, of course you choose to eat the pomegranate seeds. Not because you're tricked or plagued by insanity, but because the taste of your own creative aliveness is what gives you your power.
Persephone's story is inspiring because she creates power from pain. She is the feared, fierce Goddess. She is the final initiation on the hero's journey. She will hold the torch as she guides you through your own proverbial Underworld and she will rise with you when you are ready to return to the world of the living.
AND WE MUST RISE TO THE SURFACE IN SPRING TO ALLOW THOSE GIFTS TO BLOOM
Just like Persephone, women are naturally prone to descent and rebirth. Each month we descend into our wombs for the menstrual phase of our cycle. Each month we are reborn in the follicular phase. We rise into the spring with the gifts, lessons, and art of our inner winter.
Persephone's journey was celebrated through the Eleusinian Mysteries, the most important religious ceremony in ancient Greece. These sacred Goddess Rites were held for roughly 2,000 years. In honoring Persephone, we remember the sacred ways of feminine spirituality that once shaped the world.

So many women I have spoken to tell me that they don't go into these parts of themselves, into their true poetic depths because they are afraid they will loose themselves there. And I get it. I really do.

I'm a Persephone Woman Through and Through
For so many years of my life I felt misunderstood. Teachers, bosses, and peers viewed me as this innocent, naive little girl because I had the ability to look at the world and see magick. It felt like no one understood the depth of who I really was. I even had an English teacher who would only call on me if the text we were reading had a sentence about a character's clothes. I felt like the truest, deepest parts of me were invisible. Like I was hidden behind a facade of innocence, beauty, and frivolity.
MY POETRY WAS THE PLACE I COULD EXPRESS THE DEEPEST TRUTH OF MYSELF. IT WAS WHERE I COULD BE DARK & EROTIC. IT GAVE ME ACCESS TO MY POWER, THE ABILITY TO ALCHEMIZE MY PAIN, & EXPLORE THE EDGES OF MY CREATIVITY.

Give me all your woes, your violent nature, and I will ride them to bliss. Deposit your dead before my throne and I will take them to the Rivine Styx where the sacred waters will wash them until they are ready to be reborn. For I am Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, Goddess of Death and Spring, Witch of Red Sweet Blood, and I alone have the power to let death become life."
Being Persephone is about transmuting even the most devilish of a human's aspects and loving them just as much. Only then can you have a true springtime. Only the Womb of the Goddess, the Queen of the Undeworld, the TRUE Creature of Darkness can take all these things that need to die and turn them to gold. This is what it means to be Queen. This is what it means to be Persephone. This is what we will do in Persephone's Poetry.

Your Guide Into the Feminine Mysteries
Morgan is a feminine wisdom keeper, writer, yoga teacher, and guide for women. Her work is a spell to awaken the Goddess, a spell to soothe the soul and body of woman. Morgan’s poetry channels the primordial Dark Feminine and the ancient current of eros. Her love for the Goddess shines through all she brings to the world.
Through workshops and courses born from deep curiosity, original research, and a determination to uncover the true legacy of the Goddess mysteries, Morgan guides each woman she works with to return to her place in the red thread of feminine spirituality so she will be reunited with the core of herself.
Weaving her studies of menstrual health, female sexuality, and ancient feminine spirituality into her offerings allows Morgan to support women to come home to the unique wisdom of their bodies. Through womb yoga, soul-deep mentorship, and practices for female sexuality she guides her clients to return to a place of nourishment and nervous system regulation.
In 2020 Morgan began her work on the feminine path by studying Shakti Tantra, yoga, and the womb mysteries. In 2024, she joined the Cosmic Feminine Facilitator Training by Moon Body and became officially certified in March of 2025. Since completing her Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 she has been teaching yoga and holding women’s circles at local studios in addition to working with women 1:1. Morgan is constantly deepening her knowledge through continuing education and many days spent reading books on the Goddess.
